Word on the street is that you and Andrew stole my idea of the Cape, but I guess that I can forgive you...ish.
Either way, I hope that you're enjoying your time in the sun! Swim in the freezing water and eat an ice cream for me. =) Maybe we can all go down in August.
Here's a piece of (wickedawesomedelicious) cake that was hand-made from scratch by one of the entrepreneurs with whom our group is working, Comida Catering. This. Cake. Was. Awesome. And especially chocolatey, in that I could taste all the delicate awesomeness of whatever chocolate product was used. Yay small businesses! In the spirit of birthdays, happy cake!
Also, please note that your bracelet is doing its part to keep me sane. I wear it on especially frantic days when I know that I'll need to absentmindedly play with something in order to calm my jittery nerves. The 'serenity' inscription does its part as well. Enkosi!

Meaghan! My #1! Andrew and I were just talking about how much we wish you guys were here :). Hopefully we'll still manage to go all together... I can't wait to see you when you're back stateside :). I've been enjoying following you blog--I'm glad there's someone like you trying to fix the world's problems ;). Thank you for remembering my birthday, you're very sweet...and I can't wait to learn new foreign slang I think I love languages almost as much as you do, and that sounds especially interesting ;).
Your,

Well, maybe if SOME people had patience, then we COULD have been there with you...just kidding. Sometimes, the awesomeness that is my brain power is too great to be contained, and spills forth into ideas that are stolen by others... ;)
I'll have to learn some fun things in Xhosa and teach you the clicks so that we can gossip about Andrew and Ryan and then laugh like big wonderful black women instead of giggling like silly white girls.
And thanks for the compliment. =) I don't really have anything better to do than save the world, so.. Do it well or not at all, right?
Your now-African #1
